CFO for beauty and wellness brands

We’re looking for a sharp, client-facing CFO to serve as the strategic financial lead for a portfolio of beauty and wellness brands. You’ll be the trusted advisor our clients rely on to understand their numbers, make smarter decisions, and build a business worth buying. This is a relationship-first role. You must think in strategy, not just numbers. We’re a M&A advisory and fractional CFO firm built exclusively for beauty and wellness brand founders. Our clients are primarily women, doing $1M–$15M in revenue and they come to us because they’re serious about scaling, about cleaning up their finances, and about positioning their brand for a future acquisition. We are a high-performing, fully remote team that operates with precision, care, and a deep respect for the founders we serve. Responsibilities - Lead monthly financial strategy calls with clients, translating budget-to-actual performance into clear, actionable insight - Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and cash flow forecasts tailored to each client’s goals - Identify financial patterns, risks, and opportunities specific to beauty and wellness business models - Guide clients through growth planning, margin improvement, and acquisition readiness. - Collaborate with our internal financial analyst and bookkeeping team. They handle the numbers, you handle the strategy - Maintain high-touch client relationships that drive retention and trust Requirements - Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or CFO-level advisory - Experience working directly with clients, whether in an agency setting or 1:1 advisory capacity - Comfortable operating fully remote and managing multiple client relationships simultaneously - Strong communication skills; you can make financial concepts clear and compelling to non-finance founders - Familiarity with beauty, wellness, salon, or consumer brand business models is a strong plus - Proficiency in QuickBooks, financial modeling, and standard reporting tools Results We’re Looking For: - Clients who stay, grow, and refer because you made them feel seen and supported - Financials that are clean, current, and strategy-ready every single month - Founders who understand their numbers and are making better decisions because of you - A portfolio that is consistently moving toward scale or exit readiness What You Get - Fully remote with a flexible schedule built around your life - A dedicated financial analyst and bookkeeping team, so your time stays on strategy, not cleanup - A client base of high-performing women who value and respect the work Interviews are held virtually every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through May 15th.
