As a Data & Access Specialist on a part‑time (50 % FTE) basis, you will be a critical bridge between arenaflex’s market‑access teams, health‑economic analysts, and external stakeholders such as payers, academic researchers, and patient advocacy groups. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Analysis: Own the end‑to‑end data pipeline for health‑economic models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
  • Economic Modeling: Build, maintain, and update cost‑effectiveness, budget impact, and pricing models that support market‑access strategies for arenaflex’s portfolio.
  • Market‑Access Support: Provide evidence‑based insights to cross‑functional teams, helping shape pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies for key therapeutic areas.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, academic experts, and patient groups to gather real‑world evidence and understand local reimbursement requirements.
  • Reporting & Communication: Produce clear, concise reports and presentations that translate complex economic data into actionable business recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Cross‑Regional Collaboration: Coordinate with arenaflex’s Central Europe (CE), EMEA, and Global HEMAR (Health Economics, Market Access, and Reimbursement) teams to align data collection, modeling approaches, and strategic priorities.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all activities adhere to arenaflex’s Code of Conduct, local Slovak regulations, and industry best practices, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows, adopt new analytical tools, and enhance the overall efficiency of the market‑access function.
  • Ad‑hoc Projects: Lead or support additional initiatives as directed by the manager, ranging from special data requests to strategic market‑access studies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Economics, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong foundation in health‑economic principles, cost‑effectiveness analysis, and reimbursement frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex data sets and conduct quantitative analyses.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, STATA) or economic modeling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Slovak is required.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and geographies.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical market access, health economics, or related consultancy.
  • Exposure to HTA processes and reimbursement submissions in the Slovak or broader EMEA market.
  • Knowledge of real‑world evidence (RWE) data sources, such as claims databases, registries, or electronic health records.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (e.g., EMA, local health authority requirements).
  • Experience presenting findings to senior leadership or external stakeholders.
