Your primary goal will be to elevate and refine this product to ensure it provides an exceptional, user-friendly experience for our major accounts. This effort is key to strengthening the Connectivity platform, showcasing our technological capabilities and boosting organizational efficiency. You will lead a dynamic team of engineers dedicated to developing innovative services within the Connectivity platform, tailored to the needs of the online travel industry. Success in this role will involve both the creation and continuous improvement of technical aspects. Key Responsibilities and Duties Planning: • Collaborate with the VP of PaaS Development to formulate strategic plans for Portal Product development. • Develop and align annual and quarterly team plans with PaaS department goals and priorities. Resourcing and Delivery: • Identify key resources and collaborate with the product team and stakeholders using Agile methodologies to ensure timely feature delivery. • Uphold the company's technical, quality, and security standards by guiding the engineering team through technical design, code reviews, unit testing, and automation testing. • Lead the engineering team in developing and optimizing core technical components, managing emergency issues and ensuring swift resolution. • Monitor and track team performance metrics. Review and Evaluation: • Oversee the US engineering team, including recruitment, training, and mentorship, to foster effective collaboration and goal achievement. • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and development plans to drive continuous improvement. • Provide coaching and support to the team to achieve results. • Report on individual and team performance against plans to department management. Technology Trends Monitoring: • Stay updated on technological advancements, ensuring the team adopts the latest technologies and best practices. Cross-team Collaboration: • Build strong partnerships with product management, customer support, and client managers to align technology with business objectives. Other: • Participate in company-assigned training sessions. Experience and Skills • Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or equivalent work experience. • At least 7 years of Java development experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. • Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English. • Technical qualifications in: • Spring / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud, Mybatis, Hibernate, JPA, and other open-source frameworks with secondary development capabilities. • Agile methodologies. • Front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, ReactJS, Node.js, and NPM. • Code version management tools like Git or SVN. • Unit testing frameworks like Junit / Easy Mock / Spockframework. • Code build tools like Maven or Gradle. • Proven ability to negotiate conflicting objectives and align functional teams. • Experience in the online travel industry is preferred Apply Job!
