Job Overview As a Project Lead in the Office of the Executive Director, you will be instrumental in overseeing a variety of projects throughout our organization. Your role will entail coordinating efforts, delineating project scopes, and serving as the principal liaison for organization-wide initiatives delegated by the Executive Director. You will engage collaboratively with staff members... volunteers, the Board of Governors, and external partners to ensure the successful realization of projects that align with our organizational mission. Key Responsibilities • Lead diverse projects as designated by the Executive Director, acting as the primary contact point. • Develop initial project documentation and confirm alignment on the final project brief. • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve favorable project outcomes. • Create and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets that are in line with organizational objectives and key milestones. • Promote clear communication and collaboration among all project participants, including team members, volunteers, and senior leadership. • Track essential project metrics and data points throughout the project lifecycle. • Conduct evaluations post-project to assess outcomes and derive valuable insights. • Identify and address project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues to maintain project momentum. • Provide ongoing updates regarding project progress and steer the project team toward successful completion. Required Skills • Strong commitment to maintaining project management best practices at every stage of project execution. • Exceptional ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Proficient written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. • Competency in computer applications and software. • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. • Sound judgment along with effective interpersonal abilities. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a project management capacity. • At least 2 years of experience in managing and coordinating teams. • Proven capability to demonstrate project leadership without direct authority.
