About the position The Sr. Revenue Science Analyst at FedEx Express plays a crucial role in analyzing business problems and generating quantitative and statistical business analysis to support the organization's global strategies. This position involves leading medium revenue threshold projects, synthesizing analytical views from various business dimensions, and determining go-to-market tactics for specific target customers and markets. The analyst will work independently and collaboratively with peers across different groups, utilizing advanced tools and programming languages to provide insights and reports to upper management. Responsibilities ? Lead medium revenue threshold projects with minimal supervision. , ? Analyze business problems of medium complexity using quantitative and statistical methods. , ? Generate computer-aided quantitative analysis leveraging advanced tools and scientific modeling approaches. , ? Synthesize analytical views from various business dimensions to support business decisions. , ? Determine go-to-market tactics related to specific target customers, markets, and products. , ? Attend cross-functional meetings to understand analytical requirements across enterprise business functions. , ? Utilize computer languages and packages to analyze data and generate reports and insights. , ? Mentor and train less senior professionals in quantitative data analysis. , ? Provide updates and reports to upper management. Requirements ? Master's degree in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields such as engineering/operations research plus 2 years of experience in an analytical role. , ? Alternatively, a PhD in the relevant fields in lieu of a Master's degree plus 2 years of experience. , ? One year of experience or coursework in computer-aided decision support or programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, C, VB.net, Java, JavaScript, R). , ? Experience with relational databases (e.g., Teradata, Oracle) or visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire). , ? Strong human relations, communication, and analytical skills.
