REMOTE PACKAGING DESIGNER
Location: Dearborn, Michigan Job Type: Contract Salary: $35 - 45 per hour Cella is seeking a part-time remote Packaging Designer to create attractive and practical packaging and labels for our client's products. The right candidate will utilize graphic design elements and branding to make packaging that appeals to consumers and helps market the product. Responsibilities: Design and develop labeling tags, hangers, price tags, and occasional packaging for seasonal garment collections. Ensure all packaging and labeling designs align with clients brand identity and visual guidelines. Collaborate closely with the product development and marketing teams to understand seasonal themes and product features. Create presentation materials using Keynote and PowerPoint to showcase design concepts and strategies. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor packaging strategies to innovate and improve clients packaging and labeling. Work independently to conceptualize and execute design ideas, while also being open to feedback and collaboration. Qualifications: Experience in designing for seasonal garment production. Familiarity with sustainable packaging practices and materials. Knowledge of client brand and a passion for workwear and outdoor apparel. Proven experience in packaging and labeling design, preferably in the fashion or retail industry. Strong visual presentation skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
