This role involves proactive representation of the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and reputation, while gaining insights into future industry regulations and potential rebates. Key Responsibilities: • Market Presence: Collaborate with builders, developers, contractors, and dealers to strengthen market presence and generate demand through the distributor network. • Industry Representation: Proactively represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Utilize these opportunities to gain insights into future industry regulations and potential rebates. • Client Engagement: Collaborate with regional managers to identify and engage potential clients from various industries in need of residential Indoor Air Quality and HVAC solutions. • Strategic Planning: Strategically plan and execute initiatives to enter new markets, achieve business objectives, and expand the customer base. • Client Solutions: Work closely with the technical team to ensure a precise understanding of client needs and tailor Indoor Air Quality and HVAC solutions to effectively meet those requirements. • Presentations and Proposals: Create and deliver powerful presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, focusing on the advantages and value proposition of our Indoor Air Quality and HVAC products and services. • Reporting: Consistently provide management with thorough reports and updates on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights. • Forecasting: Ensure effective communication with Business Managers to accurately forecast demand based on confirmed activities and projected run rates. • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities through thorough market research. • Strategy Enhancement: Constantly evaluate and enhance business development strategies to maximize effectiveness and return on investment. Qualifications: • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the HVAC or Indoor Air Quality industry. • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Proactive and strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. • Ability to travel as required for trade shows, conferences, and client meetings. • Apply Job!
