Social Media Coordinator

Position: Social Media CoordinatorPlace: TelecommuteDuration: PerpetualStarting date: ImmediatelySalary: Volunteer (Unpaid)No of Opening: 1Reports to: Director of Online MinistriesWork Description:Responsible for daily posts/tweets to all applicable social media outlets. Other duties include coordinating the marketing calendar with online activity, tracking social media influence measurements, partnering with other areas of the ministry to ensure proper online messaging and relevance, ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks, submitting reports to ministry leaders on usage statistics, and continuous monitoring and coverage of all sites.Duties can include but are not limited to:Create and maintain a social networking posting schedule that includes new and previous website articles, humor, job openings, fundraising requests, and quotes.Monitor fan/follower comments and respond appropriately.Submit a monthly stats report, including the number of new fans/followers, engagements, and conversions to the website.Continuing education on social media strategies.Be available in the rotation for Live Coach to assist when needed.Maintain daily time in prayer and scripture to stay focused on God.Log into the site/social network regularly (daily or every other day) to monitor progress.Engage in continuous education in social networking and Christian living through various training methods.Maintain integrity and have no outside contact with fans/followers without prior authorization from site administration.Requirements:Skills and Abilities:Strong project management or organizational skills.In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Digg, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format and build and maintain relationships.Good technical understanding and ability to quickly learn new tools.This position would be a great volunteer opportunity for someone looking into a career in Social Media or IT. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply Job!
