This role ensures that all necessary licenses and credentials are obtained, renewed, and maintained in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. The Licensing and Credentialing Specialist will work closely with regulatory bodies, healthcare professionals, and internal teams to ensure compliance with national, state wide and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: Licensing Management: • Oversee the application, renewal, and maintenance of all necessary licenses for healthcare providers across multiple national jurisdictions. • Ensure timely submission of applications and renewals to avoid any lapses in licensing. • Maintain up-to-date records of all licenses and certifications in the company's database. Credentialing: • Coordinate and manage the credentialing process for all healthcare providers within the company, ensuring they meet all regulatory and accreditation standards. • Verify and validate the qualifications, experience, and background of healthcare professionals, including pharmacists and technicians. • Work closely with credentialing bodies to obtain and renew necessary certifications and accreditations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or equivalent work experience. Experience: • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in licensing, credentialing, or regulatory compliance, preferably within the healthcare industry. • Experience working with national licensing and credentialing requirements is a plus.
