We are currently seeking a Senior Db2 DBA with a strong background in DB2 System Administration and expertise in the Cards and Payments domain. The ideal candidate will possess 11 to 15 years of experience, showcasing a deep understanding of infrastructure architecture and its application within the financial services sector. This role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure solutions that align with our business objectives, ensuring high availability and performance of DB2 systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance to development teams, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions, conducting system audits, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Additionally, the role includes leading the evaluation of new technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, implementing security best practices, and managing disaster recovery planning. Mentorship and training of junior team members will also be a key aspect of this position, as well as monitoring infrastructure performance and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities • Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions tailored to the Cards and Payments domain. , • Oversee the administration and optimization of DB2 systems to ensure high availability and performance. , • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business needs. , • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions seamlessly into existing systems. , • Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to maintain optimal system health. , • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures. , • Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities. , • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all infrastructure-related activities. , • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity. , • Manage disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity. , • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members to build a strong technical team. , • Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. , • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
