About the Job We need someone to play with our bright, funny, and rambunctious neuro divergent 6-year-old for 1-2 afternoons per week. The ideal candidate is high-energy and has patience and a great sense of humor. We're looking for someone who could plan project-based learning/enrichment in topics that interest him. Ideally, we're also looking for someone who can help him build skills and... establish routines around things he struggles with, such as picking up after himself and recognizing how others might be feeling. Direct instruction does not work well for this kid; the ideal candidate will have a knack for making learning playful and fun, so it doesn't seem like formal lessons. Experience with ADHD/autistic children and a neuro divergent-affirming stance are required.
