Senior Software Engineer - Production Support

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications and systems in a production environment using Java, Angular, JavaScript, and database technologies.
• Manage large-scale data integrations, including file-based (e.g., CSV, XML) and API-based (RESTful, SOAP) systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly and independently, minimizing downtime and user impact.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of applications.
• Implement and maintain data security and integrity across production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, product managers, and data engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers, leading by example in quality, problem-solving, and communication

We’re Excited About You Because You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering role, working with Java, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), and frontend technologies like Angular, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Strong expertise in data integrations, including file-based formats (e.g., CSV, XML) and API-based systems (RESTful, SOAP).
• A solid understanding of database design, optimization, and query performance.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly resolve issues independently.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git in collaborative environments.
• A proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure settings while managing multiple priorities.

We’re Especially Interested in You If You Have:

• Advanced expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks like Angular.
• Experience with microservices architectures and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and task management tools like Jira.
• Experience with performance monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience working in a remote team setting.

Salary:

• The annual salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $145,000, depending on experience and qualifications
