IT Services Technician Our client is seeking a skilled IT Services Technician for a direct-hire opportunity in Stephenville, Texas. This role will primarily involve providing remote and onsite IT support for clients in the region, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and system management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Ninja)
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Windows & Windows Server
  • Active Directory (user management, password resets, group management)
  • Office 365 administration
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work both reactively and proactively
  • Strong internal and external communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite support

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues via email, phone, or remote support
  • Manage and track tickets, escalating to tier-2 support when necessary
  • Administer operating system updates using remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
  • Troubleshoot basic networking issues related to customer connectivity
  • Assist with provisioning new customers for managed services

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Experience managing tickets and IT projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications
  • Proficiency in work ticket management systems for responding to customer requests
  • Experience with Active Directory Services (user creation, group management, password resets, etc.)
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and meet deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Familiarity with automation and management tools (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Experience with layer 2 and layer 3 networking (switches, routers)
  • 2+ years of IT customer service experience in an enterprise environment
