Description: Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator helps organize, coordinate and carry out all human resource department projects and tasks. The HR Coordinator will work directly with and assist the Employee Relations Specialist to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks related to employee engagement efforts. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • HR Coordinator will be a GO TO support for every employee, including answering phones, emails, completing VOEs, and any other employee relations that AbiMar Employees or future employees may need. • Assist and train employees on how to request vacation and personal days, pay stubs from software used by HR. • Work within various web based systems to process multiple employment changes (example: onboarding, enrollments, status changes, terminations, etc) • Present information at various times including but not limited to: orientation, events, open enrollments, shift changes, and training. • Coordinate, implement and enhance company events with an established annual calendar, including training, meetings, recognition programs, etc. • Develop and administer various surveys for company events, training, personal opinions, etc. • Track and/or approve records of uniforms, temporary employees, write ups, attendance records, trainings, door cards, etc. • Fitting employees for uniforms. • Serve as a back-up for the recruiter and other HR personnel. • File and maintain employee files both electronically and on paper. • Assist in annual benefit open enrollment.
