CNC Mill Operator Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating CNC machinery in a factory setting. This role involves setting up and operating CNC mills to produce precision components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Duties • Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to specifications and production schedules. • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to understand machining requirements. • Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of machined parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. • Package finished products for shipment while adhering to safety protocols in the manufacturing facility. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines. Skills • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in a factory or manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes. • Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and specifications. • Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Knowledge of press brake machines is a plus. • Ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions accurately. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Basic welding skills are advantageous but not required.
