Security Specialist/Manager

CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD Security Specialist/Manager Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX ATS is seeking a qualified Security Manager to support the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Mission Training Complex (MTC) Contract with Simulation/Stimulation training support. Support to the MTC shall include integrated individual and collective Mission Command (MC) staff training and exercise via live, virtual and constructive modeling and simulations (e.g., Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) for home station, mission planning and rehearsal, and pre-deployment training ranging from platoon up to Combined Joint Task Forces (CJTF) levels within its Areas of Operations, Provide constructive gaming support to Title 10 Army training, Joint Training Plan (JTP), Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) engagement plan, Mission Rehearsals, Joint Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM), and other multinational training are critical support elements for the MTC. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: • Administers the Mission Training Complex's Personnel Security, Security Awareness training, Employees Continuous Evaluation/Eligibility for access to classified National Defense Information Programs and the overall security policies and procedures at the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Mission Training Complex (MTC). • Responsible for the development, management, administration, and implementation of security policies and programs for the MTC Personnel Security Program for mitigating the risk of compromise of national security information. • Performs duties as the Security Specialist responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures, standards and training for the MTC Personnel Security mission as required by regulations to include, but not limited to, AR 380-5, Department of the Army Information Security Program; AR 25-2, Cyber Security; DoD 5200.2, Personnel Security Program; DoD 5200.1-R, Information Security Program; ICD-704, Personnel Security Standards and Procedures Government eligibility for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and other Controlled Access Program Information; ICD-705, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities; and other pertinent regulations and policies applicable to the MTC's mission. Required Qualifications: • Possess 4 years directly related security specialist experience. • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work/military experience required (preferably 8 years of such experience). • Knowledge of applicable Army and DOD security policies and regulations. • Prior experience in the functions of an Industrial or Facility Security Officer, a Government or Military Security Officer, or experience in managing security and closed facility programs and personnel clearances is highly desirable.
