About the position The CDL Truck Driver Roll Off position involves safely operating a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. The role is essential for maintaining efficient waste management operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and safe service delivery. Responsibilities ? Safely operate a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes. , ? Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR). , ? Report any unsafe situations or service calls to the Route Manager or Dispatch. , ? Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required. , ? Work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify unsafe accounts. , ? Assist other company drivers as directed by the Route Manager or Dispatch. , ? Notify Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. , ? Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager. , ? Ensure all containers are dumped completely and the customer's location is left clean. , ? Position containers properly on the customer's property to avoid blocking entrances or traffic. , ? Follow route assignments and complete all documentation at the end of the route. Requirements ? 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred. , ? Valid Commercial Drivers License B (CDL). , ?
