Industrial Piping / Mechanical Engineer

Selectek is seeking a talented Industrial Piping/Mechanical Designer to join our team for a one-year engagement south of the metro Tallahassee, FL area. You must be able to work for any employer in the USA to be considered. You will use your skills and experience for the following: ? Leverage your expertise to create intricate 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for mechanical systems, piping, and structures. ? Effectively interpret and utilize Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure design accuracy. ? Collaborate closely with the project engineer, providing valuable feedback and suggestions to optimize design solutions. ? Demonstrate your skills in routing and rerouting piping systems and generate clear piping drawings and isometrics. ? Develop 3D models and drawings for equipment, structural steel, and concrete elements. ? Possess a keen eye for detail and be able to decipher existing plant drawings (equipment, structures, concrete, and site work). ? Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively. ? Conduct field sketches as needed. We are looking for someone with: ? A minimum of 10 years of experience in 3D modeling for industrial piping and mechanical designs. ? The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and efficiency. Desired skills: ? Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant-3D ?
