About the position The Stand Up Forklift Driver position involves operating a stand-up forklift in a cold storage environment. The role requires proficiency in using both electric and manual pallet jacks, as well as basic math skills for product scanning and handling. The driver will work in a temperature-controlled environment, including a freezer, and must be able to lift heavy boxes and work overtime as needed. Responsibilities • Operate stand-up forklift to move products within the warehouse. , • Use electric and manual pallet jacks to transport goods. , • Scan products using a scanner for inventory management. , • Lift boxes weighing up to 60 lbs as required. , • Maintain a clean and organized work area in a cold environment. , • Follow safety protocols and instructions from supervisors. Requirements • Minimum 6 months of experience operating a stand-up forklift. , • Ability to work in a 34-degree environment and a 10-degree freezer. , • Proficient in using a scanner for product scanning. , • Basic math skills for inventory management. , • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. , • Must have own transportation. , • Flexible schedule to accommodate overtime and shift changes. , • Bilingual communication skills.
