Daily Reading/English Tutor for Enthusiastic 14-Year-Old (Eastern Time Zone)

My 14-year-old son is excited about reading and wants to keep up his progress! His current tutor is going on tour at the end of the month, so we’re looking for a dedicated reading partner/tutor who can meet daily (if available) to keep the momentum going.

He’s a tough, motivated kid who thrives on structure and routine. The goal is to improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence through engaging, daily reading sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Patient, energetic, and engaging tutor who makes reading fun

✅ Able to meet daily or as often as possible (ideally 30-60 min per session)

✅ Uses interactive, structured methods (not just worksheets)

✅ Will read fun, challenging books that keep him engaged

✅ Encourages critical thinking, vocabulary expansion, and comprehension

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience tutoring reading/literacy or working with motivated readers

Familiarity with phonics-based or comprehension strategies (helpful but not required)

Ability to incorporate games, discussions, or creative approaches

Can adjust the teaching style to match his learning strengths

Schedule & Format:

⏰ Daily sessions preferred (30-60 minutes, flexible timing)

Online via Zoom (We provide)
