Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Kafka Developer with a robust background in Java to play a critical role in developing and maintaining Kafka messaging systems. This position provides the flexibility of remote work while enabling collaboration with a talented team to ensure the effective operation of our applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain Kafka message configurations and workflows. • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to Kafka applications. • Transform requirements and specifications into effective software solutions. • Develop software in alignment with documented requirements. • Contribute to the strategy of Master Data Management (MDM) and process design. • Conduct unit testing and document the results. • Provide solutions for Kafka software-related challenges. • Collaborate with team members to deliver operational support. • Monitor and ensure the performance of applications and databases. Required Skills • Profound understanding of Kafka functionalities, including installation and maintenance. • Strong practical experience in Java development. • Extensive knowledge of Kafka messaging systems and stream processing. • Expertise in configuring and setting up Kafka brokers. • Familiarity with diverse platforms and application stacks. • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools. • In-depth understanding of the Confluent version of Kafka and its components. • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities. Qualifications • Relevant experience in Kafka development and Java programming is essential. • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
