Senior Director, Land Development
We are seeking a Senior Director, Land Development to oversee Convergent's solar and storage development activities, leading the land development team by building an efficient and scalable development platform. The role involves people management, operational oversight, and collaboration with other teams to ensure consistency and project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant field.
- 10+ years of successful engineering and project development experience with a minimum of 1 year of solar, wind or BESS experience.
- 3+ years of people management and mentorship experience.
- Detailed understanding of entitlement regulations and policy, title clean-up and easement creation, and siting considerations.
- Ability to build relationships with people across the stakeholder spectrum – landowners, public officials, regulators, engineers, financiers, etc.
- Successful project development track record.
- Detailed understanding of all aspects of the development process.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives and financial targets.
- Open and entrepreneurial attitude with the willingness to jump in and help solve critical issues.
