Director, Business Development

We're looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Director, Business Development to lead our efforts in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. Reporting directly to the VP, Operations and Development, the Director, Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development or sales, with a significant focus on the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing significant new business deals, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to sales and business development.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and pursue business opportunities.
