We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Nutrition Tutor to support student success in our Nutritional Sciences department at Pennsylvania State University. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and fostering a culture of excellence in learning.
Job Summary:
- Assist the instructor in tutoring and supporting student learning in Nutrition 445
- Respond to emails and perform other tasks related to the class
- Work closely with students to provide individualized support and guidance
- Collaborate with the instructor to develop and implement effective tutoring strategies
Requirements:
- Must have previously earned a B+ or higher in the same course (Nutrition 445)
- Nutritional Sciences majors in their 4th year are preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
