This is a high-impact opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative team that plays a key role in keeping DraftKings compliant, competitive, and ready for what's next. What you’ll do as a Licensing Specialist

  • Prepare, review, and submit corporate license applications, renewals, and amendments for entity-level filings.
  • Manage and optimize licensing software tools to track application status, automate workflows, and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Responsible for serving as a single point of contact for state, federal, and tribal regulators on licensing matters; respond to inquiries and requests for information.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Government Affairs teams to understand the implications of regulatory changes and legislative efforts on corporate licensing.
  • Maintain organized records of processes, procedures, correspondence, and official regulatory communications by documenting and monitoring project progress to ensure initiatives stay on track.
  • Provide guidance on operational license requirements and jurisdiction-specific obligations as markets evolve or expand.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years of experience in administration, compliance, risk management, human resources, legal, or gaming.
  • Paralegal experience, which helps you navigate regulatory language and documentation with confidence.
  • A proven ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional projects independently while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to interpret new laws, rules, and regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable steps.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, AI tools, and license tracking platforms.
