Why This Role Matters

Data is the lifeblood of arenaflex’s daily operations—from flight scheduling and crew management to customer service and regulatory compliance. As a Part‑Time Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be the guardian of that data, ensuring that every record, transaction, and update is entered flawlessly. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of multiple departments, support strategic decision‑making, and help maintain the high standards that passengers worldwide expect from arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

Accurate Data Input

  • Enter, update, and verify information in arenaflex’s proprietary databases, CRM platforms, and cloud‑based repositories with a focus on zero‑error tolerance.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data entry standards, naming conventions, and formatting guidelines established by the Data Governance Team.
  • Perform routine audits of newly entered data to confirm completeness and correctness before final submission.

Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Organize and archive digital records in a systematic manner, ensuring easy retrieval for audits, reporting, and cross‑departmental inquiries.
  • Assist in the creation of data‑related documentation, including SOPs, data dictionaries, and user guides for internal stakeholders.
  • Update version‑controlled files and maintain a clear change‑log to track modifications over time.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with team members across Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, and Compliance to resolve data discrepancies and answer queries promptly.
  • Participate in virtual stand‑up meetings, providing status updates on data entry workloads and highlighting any blockers.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors in a concise, data‑driven manner.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct regular data quality checks, employing validation scripts and manual review techniques to identify anomalies.
  • Document and report data quality issues, proposing corrective actions and process enhancements.
  • Contribute ideas to ongoing initiatives aimed at automating repetitive tasks, reducing manual entry, and improving overall data integrity.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 1‑2 years of professional data entry experience, preferably in a remote or distributed work environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to work with spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets), database interfaces, and cloud collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom).
  • Accuracy: Proven track record of delivering work with an error rate of less than 0.5%.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity without direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the airline, travel, or logistics sectors.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
  • Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or related fields.
  • Exposure to automation tools like Zapier, Power Automate, or basic scripting (Python, VBA).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in entering and reviewing data, with an innate ability to spot inconsistencies.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfort interpreting data patterns and recognizing trends that may indicate systemic issues.
  • Communication: Clear, concise written communication; ability to convey technical information to non‑technical colleagues.
  • Self‑Discipline: Strong work ethic and reliability in a remote setting, including a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new software platforms and adjust to evolving business processes.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in employee development. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have access to:

  • Quarterly webinars hosted by industry experts on emerging trends in aviation technology, AI‑driven data management, and regulatory updates.
  • Opportunities to participate in cross‑functional projects that broaden your exposure to the full spectrum of arenaflex’s operations.

  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
  • Flexible scheduling that respects work‑life balance, allowing you to choose shifts that align with your personal commitments.
