Position Overview – Remote Night Shift Trip Assignment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Night Shift Trip Assignment Specialist to join the arenaflex family. This role operates on the evening shift (Monday – Friday, 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM PT) from the comfort of your home. As the linchpin of our nightly operations, you will be responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers, building efficient schedules, and providing exceptional customer service to members during the critical overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign 700‑900 nightly trips to dispatchers using the arenaflex dispatch platform.
  • Design daily dispatcher schedules that incorporate mandatory breaks, lunches, and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Match dispatchers to trips based on language proficiency, vehicle type, and member preferences.
  • Stack trips to contracted arenaflex service providers, ensuring optimal utilization and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Answer inbound calls from members, providing courteous assistance, trip updates, and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate ad‑hoc evening trips as they arise, maintaining real‑time communication with dispatchers and service providers.
  • Process payment-related administrative tasks for arenaflex service partners, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursements.
  • Handle Level 1 administrative tickets in the arenaflex support system, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous records of trip assignments, dispatcher performance, and member feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Night Operations Manager and Quality Assurance team to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in dispatching, transportation coordination, or a related logistics role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume workloads with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly to members and internal teams.
