As a Senior Data Engineer within the Item Execution and Instrumentation Group, you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s data platform evolution. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms using Scala, Python, and arenaflex technologies, adhering to strict uptime Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Architect scalable ETL solutions for massive data environments, supporting both cloud‑native and hybrid on‑premise deployments.
• Lead the transition to a Lakehouse‑driven data platform, collaborating closely with product owners, data architects, and analytics teams.
• Implement best‑in‑class data governance, documentation, and quality controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams—including data product managers, data scientists, and business analysts—to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through agile and scrum practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and rapid iteration.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
